Our guidance sessions strive to respond to individual needs. We focus initially on supporting young people to get to know and understand themselves to begin the research and decision-making process. This is done using a variety of creative guidance and coaching techniques. Using up-to-date and reliable Labour Market Information, linking talents and aspirations to the world of work, helps inform this process. Our aim is to support the development of skills and knowledge of young people to manage their career choices throughout their lives.
Luminate Careers can offer tailored services that are based on the needs of your school. These can include, but are not exclusive to, the following:

Sessions with classes or smaller groups to discuss options and career plans. We can run tailored workshops for small groups of students to include (but not limited to) options sessions, decision-making, apprenticeships, employability skills and applying to HE, challenging gender stereotypes.
I would love to have our adviser full time! The students love her and I have found her excellent to work with on every level. We really appreciate the work that has done.

I just wanted to email to say how impressed we have been with our adviser. I have never received such positive feedback from the students who have met with him and after he has been in school, there has been such a buzz and I get so many students coming and asking if they can have an appointment with him.
Sixth Form Careers Mentor, Nottingham Emmanuel School
I thought that we would just talk about potential careers, but I actually learnt more about myself and careers that would suit my interests. It was a good session!

I think it was really good, I thought that it was going to be a quick short meeting. However, it was amazing and gave me a lot of courage and motivation.
Student
The session was informative and I felt listened to.

I just wanted to say a huge huge thank you for helping guide A. I'm not sure what you have said to him, but it's clearly worked. I've never seen him so keen to take the next step.

DCG would like to say a massive thank you for supplying the staffing for our HTQ input. They have run over 30 sessions with A level and vocational students, 1st and 2nd years and have been absolutely fantastic. I have really enjoyed working with them. All were extremely professional, passionate and able to talk to the learners in a meaningful way, adapt the sessions and deal with any of the questions.
On a personal level we have loved hearing your staff talk positively about our students, it’s so nice to hear that they are asking questions and actively participating. Please pass on my personal thanks to all advisers. They are a credit to your organisation.
